Point of SaleXpress Group were commissioned by Crawley Open House to design and produce bespoke fund-raising money boxes.
Building on an original idea from their head of fundraising, the Xpress team drew up a hand-cut sample.
Once approved, we created a die which is used to cut the final boxes.
Our studio designed the artwork, which included the logo of main sponsor, Thakeham Group.
Once printed, the hand-finishing team added 3M tape to the tabs. The finished items were then delivered flat packed and distributed via volunteers and supporters.
The money boxes can easily be erected in under two minutes.
Once filled with notes and coins by supporters and the public, they are returned to Open House to add to much needed funds.
This project has proved successful, with Open House recently taking another 1000 units to add to the first batch
Crawley Open House provides support and services for those suffering the effects of homelessness, unemployment, loneliness, discrimination, or other forms of social exclusion. Their support is available to anyone in need.
All design work was provided free of charge by Xpress.
